At Scriveiner, we’re writing the next chapter of our story. We began with beautifully crafted pens and now we’re expanding into new categories: functional daily carry essentials and accessories, and other thoughtfully designed pieces for everyday life.

We’re not chasing the idea of “luxury.” We’re focused on creating products that feel as refined and well‑crafted as the world’s finest brands but without the unattainable price tag. Our mission is simple: to bring the quality, design, and emotional connection of premium craftsmanship to more people, every day.

Now, we’re looking for a Director of Product Design to shape the creative soul of Scriveiner. Someone who can define our design language, lead the evolution of our aesthetic, and build collections that people want to use, love, and keep.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Brand Expression

• Set the creative vision for every collection, defining how Scriveiner’s design DNA evolves across categories and seasons.
• Build cohesive, emotionally resonant product families that express modern refinement; timeless, not traditional.
• Translate the brand’s story into tangible, tactile design where every contour, weight, and surface detail carries intent.
• Create innovative, design‑led products that instantly say “Scriveiner” without needing a logo.

Innovation & Craftsmanship

• Expand beyond pens into new product categories.
• Lead the design process from idea to launch with sketches, prototypes, sampling, and refinement.
• Experiment with materials from fine metals and resins to leathers and composites while staying true to craftsmanship and quality.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Sales to bring commercially strong, design‑led ideas to market.
• Design products that deliver the feel and quality of true craftsmanship at accessible prices.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Work directly with the CEO to define long‑term creative and product direction.
• Build and mentor a small, world‑class design team fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Partner with Marketing to bring design storytelling to life across campaigns, retail, and packaging.
• Be the custodian of taste, balance, and detail ensuring every product reflects the soul of the brand.

Ideal Profile:

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience leading design across premium or lifestyle products such as jewellery, accessories, or other design‑led categories.
• A portfolio that blends design intelligence, craftsmanship, and emotional storytelling.
• A deep understanding of materials, form, and production; you know how to deliver exceptional quality efficiently and intelligently.
• Strategic mindset with the confidence to push boundaries and simplify complexity.
• An effective communicator who can engage both creative and commercial audiences.
