Head of Global Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

Location: Bologna Area (on-site presence required 4 days/week)

Scope: Global – Multi-country & Multi-region

About the Role

We are supporting a global industrial Group, leader in its sector, in the search for a Head of Global Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding. This is a pivotal role designed for a seasoned leader who can combine vision and execution, structure and speed, performance and transformation.

The Group is currently managing over 100 open recruitments worldwide — from the US to China and Vietnam — and is undergoing a full redesign of its global people strategy. The successful candidate will not only be expected to perform, but also to transform: shaping processes, influencing culture, and leading international hiring with clear KPIs and brand positioning goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the global Talent Acquisition strategy across all business areas and geographies
  • Partner closely with C-level stakeholders to anticipate workforce needs and deliver tailored, proactive solutions
  • Directly manage a team of international recruiters, coaching and mentoring them toward performance and consistency
  • Personally oversee critical and business-impacting hires, keeping a strong hands-on approach
  • Redesign and digitize the full recruitment process: automation, KPI tracking, reporting, sourcing tools, ATS optimization
  • Develop and execute a global Employer Branding strategy, blending digital communication, storytelling, events, and partnerships
  • Strengthen relationships with top universities, business schools, and institutions globally
  • Promote employee advocacy programs, referral initiatives, and visibility in key job markets
  • Monitor performance through analytics, feedback loops, and surveys to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency

You Are a Strong Match If You Have…

  • At least 8–10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding in structured, international organizations
  • Proven multi-country / multi-region exposure, ideally with experience in tech or R&D-driven environments
  • Prior experience as Head of Talent Acquisition (or equivalent role) with full ownership of people, budget, strategy, and outcomes
  • Strong background in process transformation, digital tools, and recruitment analytics
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to deliver under pressure and high-volume demands
  • A track record in leading Employer Branding strategies with tangible results
  • Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
  • A university degree in HR, Psychology, Communication, or Economics (HR/Organizational focus preferred)
  • Data-driven mindset, people leadership skills, and cultural adaptability

Workplace Policy

This role requires physical presence in Bologna for at least 4 days per week. While the company embraces flexibility when justified, the working culture values proximity, collaboration, and visible leadership.
