Facilities Operative (Warehouse Operator / Logistic MSSP)

Position Summary

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse facility. This role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring safe handling of materials, and supporting overall warehouse operations to meet productivity and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and Storage Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition against delivery documentation, and record any discrepancies. Transport goods to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment. Organize inventory in assigned locations following established warehouse management procedures and ensure proper rotation of stock to optimize availability.
  • Order Fulfillment and Shipping Pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment according to specifications and quality standards. Load goods efficiently and securely, ensuring proper documentation accompanies all shipments.
  • Inventory Management Contribute to regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory processes in cooperation with the Facility Coordinator.
  • Safety and Compliance Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and report safety hazards immediately. Comply with company policies, SOPs, GMP regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for warehouse operations.
  • Equipment Operation Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Maintain current certifications as required for equipment operation.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Valid driving license and forklift operator certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Conditions

This role involves physical work in a warehouse environment. May require overtime during peak seasons or operational needs. Shift work may be required including evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business requirements.
