Job brief
We are looking for one in Sicily (001) and one in Puglia (002), who are passionate about agriculture and digitalisation of field activities.
Sales Agent needs to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important local clients. You will be responsible for obtaining new clients and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements. You will drive local alliances as well as set distributors along the defined region in agreement with the Country Sales Manager.
The ideal candidate is capable of proactively attracting new clients, effectively managing the sales pipeline, closing the deals, and building strong relationships with customers.
You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success in a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities – Lead Generation.
- Acquire new clients through understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of clients.
- Expand the relationships with existing by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Create proposals for existing and potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client's long-term goals.
- Efficiently close the deals and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Provide good customer service through email or phone.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
- Work within commercial department to develop and improve sales conditions.
- Achieve and fulfil local commercial budgets and sales revenue.
- Monitor agricultural market trends, identify business opportunities, and provide feedback for product and strategy improvements.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Trapview products, highlighting their functionalities and benefits for integrated pest management in the assigned area.
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
- Compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related fields.
- Proven experience in sales and in providing solutions based on customer needs (knowledge of digital solutions in agriculture and agronomy will be considered as advantage).
- Knowledge of the Sicilian / Puglia agricultural market, focusing on key crops (fruit & vegetables, grapes, olive).
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Mobility: willingness to travel within the assigned area.
- Languages: Intermediate English level mandatory to communicate with headquarter.
