For a leading multinational company in Milano, specializing in the installation and maintenance of transport systems, we are searching for an Interim Business Finance Analyst.

We offer an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

The ideal candidate will have fluent English and previous experience, preferably gained in multinational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-business transformation projects with a strong focus on improving field performance in Business Unit Europe Africa.
  • Support the Head of Transformation and Head of Operations with strategic analyses and decision-making materials, including high-quality presentations for senior leadership and group-level meetings.
  • Translate complex operational and business data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Monitor key business and operational metrics across all countries in Europe Africa, identify trends, and highlight implications for transformation priorities.
  • Contribute to the development and tracking of field transformation project roadmaps, initiatives, and change programs.
  • Support project teams and work closely with the Finance department to plan and track costs, financial targets, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with country field leaders to ensure consistent and accurate data foundations.
  • Facilitate preparation and follow-up for transformation workshops, field meetings, and key strategic discussions.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support and problem-solving expertise to the Transformation and Field leadership team.
  • Implement a consistent Transformation Office governance, efficient reporting, and transparency of results, risks, and progress status.

Your Profile

  • A university degree in business administration, economics, finance, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of +4 years of professional experience, ideally with field/finance/elevator/transformation office/consulting – ideally within an international or matrix organization.
  • Extensive analytical skills, including designing, building, and populating financial and operational models.
  • Solid knowledge of financials and financial management of projects, budgeting, actuals tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large sets of unstructured data and assimilate large volumes of complex information quickly and accurately.
  • A team player mentality, goal-oriented, resilient, strong commitment, and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent social and communication skills in fluent English (written & spoken).
  • Professional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and structuring presentations for executive meetings and communication.
