This Position reports to: Purchasing Manager
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Analyzing purchasing data, market trends, and supplier metrics to identify cost‑saving opportunities and support strategic decision‑making.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track KPIs, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
- Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing price lists and terms and conditions.
- Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
- Verifying external capacity of all suppliers and approaching new ones on the market.
- Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.
Qualifications For The Role
- You hold a degree in Finance, Economics, or Management Engineering.
- You are interested in building your career in product engineering, supply chain, or procurement.
- You have a solid understanding of cost analysis and financial evaluation, ideally within supply‑chain or purchasing functions.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- You are at ease communicating in both Italian and English.
- You have good proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
- You bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
