Junior Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations and gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and administrative activities within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the recording of basic accounting entries (customer / supplier invoices, general ledger, expense reports).
- Assist in account reconciliation activities (bank, customers, suppliers).
- Help manage e-invoicing and document archiving.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities (reconciliations, reports).
- Collaborate in preparing VAT returns and other tax compliance activities.
- Carry out general administrative tasks (document management, database updates).
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting or a bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good command of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of English (A2–B1 level).
Nice to Have
- Previous experience (even internship) in administrative or accounting roles.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Zucchetti, DocFinance, or similar).
- Basic understanding of VAT regulations and the purchase / sales invoice process.
