Your Responsibilities

  • Create and manage comprehensive supply chain plans that ensure alignment with production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory targets
  • Regularly assess inventory levels, production capacity, and lead times to optimize stock and reduce operational costs
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless material flow and product availability
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks within the supply chain, including supplier issues, transportation delays, market changes and implement mitigation strategies
  • Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing options to reduce risk exposure and ensure continuity in supply
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of supply chain operations, such as order fulfillment, inventory turnover, and supplier performance
  • Participate in continuous process improvement by analyzing existing workflows and suggesting process optimizations

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, production planning, or procurement with solid knowledge of supply chain principles and operations
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Advanced proficiency in using supply chain management tools and ERP systems, particularly SAP (Key User experience is a plus)
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Business Intelligence systems, to manage data and analyze trends
  • Previous experience in SCM/Logistics in a manufacturing company, with a preference for experience in the automotive sector
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts, assertively push projects forward, and build constructive relationships
  • Language skills: fluent in English and Italian, knowledge of German is advantageous
