Location: Turin, Italy (occasional travel across Italy and abroad)

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

We are looking for an Energy Efficiency Manager to optimize energy consumption across test facilities and equipment in the automotive sector. You will play a key role in improving energy performance, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards, and leading projects to implement sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct energy audits of automotive test facilities and equipment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and propose technical and economic solutions.
  • Implement and monitor energy optimization projects.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on energy-related installations and equipment.
  • Supervise technical interventions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to integrate best practices in energy efficiency.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise energy improvement projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and performance goals.
  • Prepare technical reports and present results to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with energy, environmental, and safety regulations (including ISO 50001 certification).
  • Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends in energy efficiency.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve energy performance.
  • Raise awareness and train staff on best practices for energy savings, promoting a culture of energy efficiency within the company.

Requirements

  • Native-level Italian and professional English (B2 or above).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s in Energy/Energy Efficiency or related field is a plus).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in energy efficiency project management.
  • Professional experience in the automotive sector, ideally with test equipment maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of energy systems, technologies, and energy/environmental regulations.
  • Skilled in energy modeling and simulation tools.
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and initiative.
