Prestigious Catholic School in EUR Seeks CELTA-Qualified Preschool English Teacher

Highlands Institute, a well-established Catholic Paritaria School in the EUR district of Rome, is seeking a CELTA-qualified, native or near-native English-speaking teacher for our Preschool English Program for the 2024–2025 school year.

The working schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:0 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Your Role

You will guide young learners in a warm, structured, and language-rich environment. We are looking for a teacher who can foster curiosity, build early literacy foundations, and support children’s English development through play, songs, routines, and interactive learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience teaching English to preschool-aged children (ages 3–5).
  • Passion for early childhood education and for providing full English-language instruction throughout the school day.
  • Ability to balance creative activities with structured, age-appropriate lessons.
  • Strong planning, classroom management, and communication skills.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and reliability in a team-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

  • CELTA or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Experience teaching English to young learners.
  • High level of professionalism, punctuality, and organizational skills.
