Perform tasks related to receiving, warehousing and releasing materials into production. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.
- Guarantee Standard approach for optimal inventory management. Read across best practice, implement common standard work or inventory management and material practices
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations and stock levels
- Coordinate transformation projects regarding materials management for all Avio Aero plants, in order to improve inventory turnover and processes.
- Support all Avio aero sites to develop action plans, leveraging lean practices such as daily shop management and problem solving
- Focal point or coordination or collaboration with other inventory leaders in the Avio aero plants to share lean and material practices _
- Daily collaboration with Functions, Plants and Finance to implement the transformation in all Avio Aero sites
- Work closely with planning and manufacturing leaders to optimize inventory in plants, driving turns improvement
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory forecast
- Training less experienced inventory workers
- Qualifications / Requirements
- Significant experience in Inventory management
- Experience in a manufacturing role and knowledge of aeronautical environment
- Fluent English and Italian both written and spoken
- EU work permit
