Overview

The role is in the UNA HOTELS Expo Fiera Milano located in Pero (MI). The pastry resource will work closely with the Chef to develop sweet and savory pastries for the à la carte restaurant, breakfast services and banquets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of products including sweet and savory pastries for dining and breakfast, leavened bakery items, biscuits, dessert garnishes, spoonfuls, and single servings for the café.
• Prepare mise‑en‑place for service.
• Manage pastry orders and inventory.
• Operate the pastry laboratory independently and efficiently.
• Ensure service quality, health and safety, and maintenance of company assets.
• Maintain professional and ethical relations with colleagues, suppliers and guests.
• Comply with HACCP standards – temperature control, labelling, workstation sanitation, correct use of regulated products, etc.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Teamwork and stress‑management skills.
• Availability for split shifts.

Work Hours

• Day and evening shifts, including split shifts.
• Full‑time: 40 hours per week – 5/7 (Monday–Sunday).
