Skills Description

BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is seeking a full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Italy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level support for customer issues.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues.
  • Communicate promptly about issue status and resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates for all incidents reported.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010; support Cisco Jabber.
  • Support basic Mac OS to assist Apple PC users.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
  • Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Have a broad understanding of IT, including networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
  • Work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid work permit.
  • Extensive IT and computer knowledge and understanding.
  • Several years of relevant experience preferred.
