Junior Network engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and configuration of hybrid network infrastructures (on‑premise and cloud) within the Defense sector. You will work on command‑and‑control systems, ensuring secure and efficient network operations. Your missions

• Participate in the design and configuration of hybrid network infrastructures (on‑premise and cloud).
• Configure and manage CISCO equipment.
• Support cybersecurity practices, including VPN management, network segmentation, and device configuration.
• Work with network configuration tools to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with Defense sector standards and requirements.

Your profile

• Academic background: Recent graduate in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Familiarity or experience with network design and configuration; Cisco certifications are a plus!
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, particularly VPNs and network segmentation.
• Fluent Italian and English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Availability to work in Rome (initial phase onsite, later hybrid mode 50%).
