Sustainability Data Analyst Grundfos Water Treatment

Grundfos is seeking a skilled and motivated Sustainability Data Analyst to join our Industry (IND) Sustainability team. This position plays a key role in supporting our sustainability strategy and integrating data systems for IND Water Treatment (WT), with a strong focus on advancing decarbonization efforts by setting and reporting CO₂ and REEP2 targets for Scope 3 emissions.

Overview

This role supports the IND Sustainability team by connecting data and strategic decision-making to advance decarbonization and sustainability reporting for Water Treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and accurately input product-level sales data.
  • Connect diverse data points to build scenarios for net zero and decarbonization pathways.
  • Develop strategic sustainability roadmaps based on data insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve data processes and methodologies.

Success Criteria

  • Enable IND to define consolidated CO₂ and REEP2 targets for 2026 and beyond.
  • Drive internal engagement and support for the sustainability impact plan and our decarbonization roadmap in particular.
  • Establish transparent tracking systems and effective communication strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Environmental Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in data analysis and strategic support.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
  • Strong understanding of decarbonization principles and water treatment technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to connect detailed data to broader strategic goals.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.

Reporting & Collaboration

This role reports to the Director, IND Sustainability and involves close collaboration with teams across Sustainable Finance, Water Treatment, Performance Development, and senior leadership.
