HR Technology & People Analytics Specialist

Role Overview

Based at Somacis HQ in Castelfidardo, this strategic and hands‑on role reports to the HR Manager and is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing HR systems and analytics frameworks that enable data‑driven workforce management across Somacis’ global operations. The specialist ensures that HR technology supports efficient, compliant, and scalable HR processes, providing insights and predictive analysis to guide workforce planning, talent management, and organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, administer, and optimize HR systems including ATS, LMS, HCM, Time & Attendance, performance management and succession planning tools.
  • Lead the implementation of new HR technologies, system upgrades, and platform integrations.
  • Act as the HR system expert, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy and security, ensuring compliance with GDPR and corporate policies.
  • Provide training and support to HR team members, managers, and end‑users.

People Analytics & Workforce Insights

  • Collect, clean, and analyze HR data to deliver actionable insights for business decisions.
  • Develop dashboards and reports on key metrics: turnover, absenteeism, headcount, talent mobility, performance, L&D, engagement, HR costs.
  • Build predictive models to forecast workforce needs, identify retention risks, and support succession planning.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Leadership to align workforce analytics with strategic and operational goals.

HR Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee development.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to digitally transform HR workflows, improving efficiency and data visibility.
  • Support standardization of HR processes across Somacis’ international subsidiaries.
  • Act as a key contributor in HR projects aimed at organizational development and process optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted partner for HR leadership and business managers, providing data‑driven insights for workforce planning, talent management, cost optimisation, and strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate complex HR metrics and analytics in clear, actionable language for decision‑makers.
  • Support global HR strategy by ensuring HR technology and analytics provide scalable solutions for a rapidly growing multinational environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Computer Science, HR Management or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Technology, HRIS, HR Systems or People Analytics roles; multinational or PE‑backed company experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
  • Hands‑on experience with HR digital platforms, workflow automation, and HR digital transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and process improvement skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of English; additional languages a plus.
