JUNIOR M&A ANALYST
(M&A, Transactional Risks, FINEX Global)
The M&A team at WTW is a truly global team formed by sector professionals with extensive international experience in all areas of M&A; we have an in-depth, detailed understanding of the most complex transactions, aligning ourselves with the clients´ interests. This enables us to provide the best service and advice, tailoring the transactional risks insurance policy to each deal.
Our rapidly growing M&A unit is now looking for a young Associate based in Milan to support the M&A team in Italy and the international M&A capability ensuring the delivery of revenue targets, in a compliant and ethical manner.
Main responsibilities
- Advising clients on M&A insurance products in the context of transaction processes, finding the best insurance solutions in the market.
- Support to the Transactional Risk Team during the M&A process; preparation of pitch, RFP, flyer for marketing purposes.
- Review of M&A deals (including relevant transaction documents, such as SPAs, R&Ws, investment agreements and due diligence reports), assessment of the main issues under insurance perspective, assessment of the insurability of risk, and collaboration with the deal team to provide timely support.
- Structure warranty and indemnity insurance and other transactional risk insurance solutions; lead negotiations with insurers for insured risks.
- Build and maintain relationships with M&A players, including insurers.
The Requirements
- Italian legal degree (Laurea in Giurisprudenza)
- English Level C1
Experience:
- 0-3 years’ experience in corporate law and in advising on mergers and acquisition deals.
- Previous experience of corporate law is beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word is essential.
- Strong and fluent knowledge of English language is crucial.
- High analytical, creative and curious nature, with the ability to work independently and with teams. Ability to organize, analyze and interpret structured and unstructured data for decision-making.
