Senior Data Engineer – CRIF

CRIF, an international group specializing in informational solutions, decision models, outsourcing, software, and consulting services, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our “Advanced Analytics Global” area, the centre of excellence combining expertise in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Generative AI.

Profile

  • PhD or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering/AI fields.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and teamwork capabilities.

Hard Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Python programming, focus on production‑ready framework and tools (e.g. uv, ruff).
  • Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices (OOP, SOLID).
  • Solid experience in using cloud services and platforms (AWS and Databricks preferred).
  • Solid experience with orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, dbt).
  • Solid experience with code versioning tools (in particular git).
  • Familiarity with API design.
  • Familiarity with DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment.
  • Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps.
  • Knowledge of major web frameworks (FastAPI) and microservices architectures.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Data Governance concepts (Data Lineage, Data Quality).
  • Knowledge of ML/DL libraries.
  • Experience with agent protocols (e.g. MCP, A2A, ACP) and agentic design patterns.
  • Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant) and integration with AI systems, for example RAG.
  • Contributions in Open Source projects.
  • Basic knowledge of other programming languages (Scala, Rust).
