Lean Manager

Our client is looking for a Lean Manager to support the growth of the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lean Manager in the Continuous Improvement Savings (CIS) program.
• Lead Six Sigma and/or Lean Projects, such as Value Stream Map Projects.
• Assist the Lean Manager in leading the Kaizen Process and Kaizen Funnel of the Production Unit.
• Help develop the Daily Management Process.
• Facilitate Kaizen Events using Lean tools such as SMED or 5S.
• Prepare pre-work before starting a Kaizen Event.
• Gather data for Six Sigma and standardization projects.
• Lead Problem Solving activities using tools like 5Whys, Ishikawa Diagram, or Noise to Constant.
• Develop educational materials and provide training on Lean and continuous improvement.
• Lead and supervise process improvement activities on the manufacturing floor.
• Apply Lean concepts and process tools in work functions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System, ISO 45001, including auditing.
• Possess Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt knowledge.
• Have 3-5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing or similar roles.
• Experience leading Lean or Continuous Improvement projects.
• Knowledge of Daily Management and Kaizen Processes.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement culture and Lean methods such as 5S, SMED, TPM, 3P, Kanban, or standard work.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with solid documentation abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with accurate documentation.
• Problem-solving skills using tools like 5Whys, Ishikawa, or Noise to Constant.
• Clear thinking and prioritization skills.
• Strong team-building and facilitation skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Proficiency in PC skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Minitab.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, works with urgency.
• High technical competency.
