CAE Analyst (Chassis specialist)

In order to support the growth of our staff, we are looking for a CAE Analyst specialized in Chassis analyses, Multibody or FEM :

What you will deal with, for Structural analyst :

• Suspension system development (elastic kinematics)
• NVH analysis of the suspension system
• Misuse : components loaded beyond tensile strengths for durability analysis
• Crash load evaluation for collapse strategies

What you will deal with, for Multi-body / real time analyst :

• Creation of multibody suspension models and complete vehicle
• Simulations of dynamic manoeuvres in multibody and Real-Time environments with evaluation of global duty cycle time history
• Use calculation tools to develop handling performance and vehicle comfort

Both will deal with :

• Development of new analytical methodologies
• Creation and illustration of reports with the end customer with definition of next steps to reach the set targets

What we are looking for :

• Excellent knowledge of : Hypermesh / view as pre-post
• Good knowledge of : ABAQUS or OPTISTRUCT (for FEM analysts)
• Excellent knowledge of : ADAMS / Car (for multibody analysts)
• Good knowledge of : ViCarRealTime (for multibody analysts)
• Excellent knowledge of : Matlab / Simulink
• Knowledge of the dynamics of the vehicle and the main systems that affect it : suspension, steering, tyres
• Good knowledge of the overall vehicle and its components
• Knowledge of Italian (preferred) and English (mandatory, fluent)
• Predisposition to teamwork
• Good problem solving skills
• Availability for relocation / frequent travel

The profile is completed by :

• University Experiences and / or Student Teams (e.g. Formula SAE)
• Knowledge of VI-Grade CarRealTime software (or equivalent)
