Overview

Join to apply for the Cybersecurity Certifications Specialist role at Hitachi Energy.

You will play a key role as a Cybersecurity Specialist as part of our Global Cybersecurity Certification Program team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Cybersecurity Certification Team Manager in end-to-end certification activities.
  • Assist and interact with the internal assessments team for NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, TISAX, FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type 2 and related activities.
  • Plan, design, manage, and carry out project plans to assure delivery and ensure project plans fulfill their objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to comprehend procedures and promote results.
  • Participate in audits and site visits, as requested.
  • Identify ways to streamline and optimize processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that external audits are carried out efficiently.
  • Ensure certification is maintained, contributing to the process related to yearly surveillance audits and re-certification audits by interacting with external auditors from a certification body and liaising internally with various stakeholders across the globe to ensure necessary readiness.
  • Ensure continual compliance and react to scope changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Engineering or Computer Science).
  • Minimum of 10 years' overall experience and at least 5 years in Information or Cybersecurity domain.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in the Cybersecurity Certifications domain.
  • Experienced GRC professional.
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, TISAX, FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type 2 standards.
  • Team player with an ability and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and associated certifications specific to companies in United States.
  • Any relevant cybersecurity-related certification will be an added value.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work globally in an internationally distributed organization, with flexible time zones and occasional travel.
