Job Description:

Activities:

• Ensuring product control, quality and development;
• Ensuring fluid communication between departments at the Italian production site and the European site;
• Mechanical development of the vehicle's back door and trunk;
• Evaluating production processes, designing new systems and processes for new or improved products;
• Developing production processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, and modifying;
• Preparing proposals and production estimates for products;
• Participating in improvement plans;
• Improving production efficiency through workflow analysis, space planning, and equipment layout optimization.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• 3-5 years of experience in the automotive sector;
• Experience with steering systems;
• Experience with automotive mechanical developments (such as seats, doors, trunk, interiors);
• Knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing of plastic parts (tailgate and backlit grille parts or similar);
• Proficiency in CATIA (3D modeling and 2D drawings), functional dimensioning, manufacturing standards;
• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, PDCA);
• Ability to make technical proposals and lead projects;
• High proficiency in English (B2 level).
