Site Quality Engineer

We are looking for two Site Quality Engineers to join our team for one of our upcoming projects.

MISSION

The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable quality standards, project specifications, and company procedures. They will supervise suppliers, perform quality inspections, and oversee testing and commissioning phases throughout the construction of a photovoltaic plant.

TASKS

• Develop and implement site-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
• Supervise suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks on site.
• Ensure adherence to international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IEC, ASTM).
• Identify and manage non-conformities; define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee quality of civil, mechanical, and electrical installations (PV modules, inverters, transformers, cabling, mounting structures).
• Review and approve supplier documentation related to materials and equipment.
• Maintain QA/QC records and reports for project traceability and final handover.
• Conduct training sessions and promote awareness of quality standards and best practices among site personnel.
• Support commissioning, testing, and final quality acceptance activities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields).
• 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within solar or renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
