As a Validation Engineer, you will collaborate with our R&D team to evaluate IoT Wireless Products on Open Linux enabled platforms. Your responsibilities will include, among others, the creation, analysis and debug of applications written with the Open Linux SDK, designing and deploying comprehensive test plans, and developing test case documents and automated test routines tailored for the Open Linux SDK architecture. A critical aspect of the role is to validate the whole Open Linux system, so the best candidate must have a full view of what a Linux System is and how applications are developed, compiled and run on it.

Objectives & Responsibilities

• Execute & analyse Test Sessions delivering detailed Test Reports on the Open Linux SDK.
• SDK Analyse test results and verify compliance with product specifications.
• Maintain, plan, design, develop test scripts aimed to validate IOT cellular wireless products.
• Bugs and Change Requests handling in Jira, manage assigned tasks and constantly report on the validation status.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or currently enrolled students who are close to completing their degree (e.g., missing only a few exams).
• Deep knowledge of Linux and C development capabilities.
• Basic software programming skills (e.g., Python).
• Strong communication skills, problem solving and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in product test development for cellular/wireless technology.
• Experience with RF/HW automated test and measurement equipment would be an advantage.
