This position reports to:

Service Team Leader

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service, planning and executing service work as per customer orders and expectations. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention through effective communication of service work timelines and expectations.

The work model for this role is: Onsite

This role contributes to the Electrification Service division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage apparatus while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inventories, inspections, and equipment repairs, recommending improvements for performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate documentation, safety planning, and supervision of external service activities, reporting technical details to management.
  • Manage on-site interventions with an estimated annual schedule of 200 days (80% in Italy, 20% abroad).

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the same field.
  • Qualified in reading schematic electrical and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Actively seek solutions instead of focusing on problems.
  • Technical diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical field.
  • Proficient in communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
