Position: Junior Quality Control Specialist

Role Description

Hound Srl, a company specialized in the import and distribution of innovative products, is looking for a Junior Quality Control Specialist to join its team.

The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a natural inclination toward using AI and digital tools to optimize quality control and compliance processes.

Key Responsabilities

• Use AI and advanced research tools to draft and verify product labels, including regulations, warnings, texts, pictograms, and usage instructions.
• Analyze and validate certifications and test reports from suppliers.
• Support the preparation of Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) with the help of automated tools.
• Communicate with international suppliers to collect documentation required for import procedures.
• Collaborate with the customs broker for accurate classification of customs codes (HS Code).
• Coordinate factory inspections (during production or pre-shipment) in cooperation with Hound’s China office.
• Ensure product compliance with EU and international standards.

Requirements

• Degree or technical diploma.
• Strong command of digital tools and ability to work with AI-assisted systems.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• Basic understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Teamwork skills and effective communication with international partners.
• Accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
