Essential Responsibilities
Manage import/export activities, collaborating with customs and ensuring that all international transactions comply with the rules and regulations governing the import and export of goods
Support the Commercial and Program Management team in developing and maintaining programs that ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate the sending and receiving of goods domestically and internationally, managing any issues that may arise during customs and delivery operations
Develop and implement, in coordination with HQ, logistics transformation strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and foster company growth and competitiveness
Lead/participate in daily management meetings, Cell Control Center/Plan Control Center, Genba walks, Kaizen and Shingi events
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to evaluate logistics performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure operational alignment with the production plan and key performance indicators and demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and overall corporate objectives
Activate connected flow using GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating system to achieve future corporate inventory and flow objectives
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s Degree in STEM subjects including Economics
Solid previousexperiencein leading logistic and materials teams driving lean culture and operational transformation
Strongexperiencein a Lean Manufacturing
Fluent in English and Italian, both written and oral
Proficient in computer Skills, MS Office package, SAP
Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required
