We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a data centre construction project on a 12-month freelance contract. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the project, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Employment type: Freelance/Contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all phases of the data centre construction project.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee site management, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
• Identify and resolve project risks, issues, or delays.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and client specifications.
• Report project progress and key updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction project management, preferably within data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree or above in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects, preferably within the data centre sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Relevant degree or certifications in construction management or engineering.
• Previous freelance or contract experience is a plus.
