The SQE will ensure that all purchased components meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves monitoring supplier performance, conducting audits, and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality standards
Conduct supplier audits and assessments
Monitor incoming materials and perform inspections as required
Investigate non-conformities and work with suppliers for corrective actions
Maintain documentation of supplier quality performance
Collaborate with internal departments to support production needs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering
3+ years of experience in supplier quality management
VDA 6.3 process auditor qualification Knowledge of IATF, Core Tools Automotive etc.
Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, TS)
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
