Issuing Solutions Operational Success Lead — Shape the Future of Payments with Nexi in 2025

Why This Role Is Right for You

We are looking for an Issuing Solutions Operational Success Lead who will join our Operations Transformation team, helping the company realize the ambition of expanding the full scope of our issuing solutions to all Nexi countries, as currently expressed by our PaaS Nexi Ready projects. This role will have the responsibility, cooperating closely with the Issuing Business Unit, and with the Sales, Marketing and Operations departments of the involved Regions, to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the operations activities needed to support the new services. As a starting point, implementation and development of PaaS in the Dach region will be a priority, but the scope of the full Issuing business areas within Operations Transformation will be part of the responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design and evolve service support for issuers/banks, including escalation and governance processes.
  • Lead and orchestrate the onboarding project of new banks from the Operations point of view: align all stakeholders, define action plans, and ensure all requirements are met before go-live.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes, with a focus on quality, scalability, and customer experience with local operations units.
  • In cooperation with the relevant regional operations departments, and with Group Operations, reporting team, design the KPI and reporting structure needed to produce insights for all our internal stakeholders to monitor performance, identify issues, and support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in customer operations or service delivery roles, preferably in fast-growing digital companies or fintechs
  • Experience in managing BPOs or external service providers
  • Solid understanding of operational processes related to customer operations
  • Strong project coordination skills, especially in cross-functional settings
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with digital tools, data, and agile ways of working
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Management, or similar technical/scientific disciplines
  • Fluent in English is mandatory
