DIRECTOR MSAT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Global Head of MSAT and PM, the Director of MSAT and PM will be responsible for process development, equipment installation, and validation at Recipharm’s sites in Monheim and Zwickau.

This position will be part of the Site Leadership Team.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support 'Lead to contract' processes with technical feasibility assessments according to global procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and deviation investigations related to analytical testing methods or process execution in commercial production.
• Collaborate with global MSAT, PM, Quality, and Commercial teams.
• Manage the local MSAT team of engineers and scientists.
• Lead interdisciplinary projects across both sites following global project management procedures.
• Provide regular project updates and reports.
• Manage project portfolios and align priorities within the Site Leadership Team.
• Coordinate with Commercial for offer writing and resource planning related to TT / PD funnel S&OP.
• Oversee local Project Management teams at both Monheim and Zwickau sites.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Process, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience leading large teams in a matrix organization.
• Proven experience modeling technical processes.
• Knowledge of global Project Management and PMO practices.
• Track record in continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Understanding of inferential statistics in manufacturing robustness.

SKILLS

• Deep understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in SAP system.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proactive team player with organizational skills.
• Commercial mindset and GMP knowledge specific to pharma.
• Innovative, process-oriented, with a strategic yet detail-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

Based at Zwickau or Monheim am Rhein, with hybrid work options. Some travel required domestically and internationally.
