Position Overview

The Electronic Engineer for Space Production (AIT) holds a key role within a rapidly expanding international company in the space industry, with a specific focus on small- to medium-sized satellites. The ideal candidate will ensure that all phases of Electrical AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) comply with international quality standards and project specifications. The position involves close collaboration with engineering and quality teams to meet deadlines and contractual requirements efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

• Independently design and generate electrical integration and functional test procedures at satellite and instrument level, in accordance with functional requirements, cost plans, and schedules.
• Support installation and configuration of a EGSE at the test facility (Integration and Test, Environmental Campaign).
• Prepare hardware tests (test item setup), including SCOE EGSE.
• Autonomously execute platform- and satellite-level electrical integration and test activities: interface tests, functional tests, support to AOCS performance tests, power systems, TT&C, onboard data handling, and payload test support.
• Define test procedures within the verification process, in coordination with engineering and AIT/AIV managers.
• Integrate electrical test activities within the overall AIT process, in collaboration with the AIT manager.
• Responsable of training and coaching of internal personel involved in Electrical AIT.

Qualifications

• Experience in AIT for Space Systems.
• Solid practical knowledge of space system production processes.
• Experience of electronic instrumentation for testing (eg. spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, logic analyzer).
• Knowledge communication protocols (eg. 1553b, serial protocols generic, spacewire, I2C)
• Willingness to travel and work shift if required.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Creative thinking applied to engineering and AIT concepts and solutions.
• Strong problem-solving approach during program development.
• Ability to develop effective ideas.
• Power equipment testing experience.
• Goal-oriented and responsible, with motivation, dedication, initiative, proactivity, and autonomy.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Possession of a driving license (Category B).

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience in small satellite development (small satellites) is a plus
• Knowledge of embedded systems and programming languages (C, Python, etc.) for space electronic applications.
• Ability to work in an international context and with external clients.
• Experience with testing, validation, and integration of complex electronic systems.
