Overview

Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the IOC, the cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). The Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

The role of the Medical Care Administration ensures the health, safety, and well-being of athletes, staff, spectators, and residents. This includes disease prevention and control, organizing emergency medical services. Working prevalently in the MOC, the role is responsible for facilitating coordination processes with local health authorities and communication with various healthcare entities.

Key Deliverables

  • Process Optimization: Improved resource management and workflows to reduce wait times and increase productivity.
  • Technology Management: Effective implementation and use of information technology for data management, medical records, and appointment scheduling.
  • Staff Management: Planning and coordinating medical and administrative staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Standardization of services: Implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure standardized, high-quality care.

Requirements

Essential

  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Previous project management experience in events and medical sector is a plus
  • Ability to simplify, synthetize and build powerful reports and presentations
  • Ability to work under pressure and with a flexible attitude to deal with changing priorities
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Team player and Independent thinker
  • Pro-active in flagging problems and proposing solutions
  • Motivated to learn
  • Excellent writing skills in italian and english
  • Advanced user of Microsoft suite (excel, word, power point, share point)

DESIDERABLE

  • Communication: Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively, both in Italian and English.
  • Teamwork and independent thinking: Ability to work in a group and as an independent thinker.
  • Sporting Event Experience: Previous experience in sporting events, particularly at the Olympic and Paralympic level, is a significant advantage.
