Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team.

As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the Last Mile department supporting warehouse and freight operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title : Warehouse Associate Location : Union City, CA Pay Range : $21.00 / hr What’s the Job?

• Perform labor-intensive tasks, including manual lifting of freight up to 75 pounds.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking merchandise, and matching purchase orders.
• Read and process customer orders, shipping orders, and work orders to determine items for distribution.
• Ensure the warehouse remains accessible and safe for employees and customers.
• Operate safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures while assembling products and conducting inventory counts.

What’s Needed?

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.
• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Experience with handheld scanners and loading / unloading trailers is a plus.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
