We are looking for an experienced Project Manager & PMO to join our headquarters in Rome.
The role will focus on driving innovation and process optimization within IT systems. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with the ability to design and improve processes, as well as implement and manage IT systems in various business areas, such as accounting, supply chain, production, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of IT systems for projects related to process innovation, ensuring effective integration of processes into the system.
• Support project implementation by analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes, particularly in accounting, supply chain and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs, translate them into functional requirements, and define processes that can be implemented into IT systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure project milestones are met within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Travel for on-site missions (domestic and international) to provide training, troubleshooting, and system fine-tuning, especially where project requirements differ from the standard system.
• Ensure projects are executed in compliance with company standards, while also identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• 7-10 years of experience in consultancy or structured firms ideally with a background in IT system implementation or IT process innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics.
• Strong understanding of business processes, particularly in accounting, supply chain and reporting.
• Previous experience in industrial sectors (preferably Construction and Infrastructure, Energy, Oil & Gas), with exposure to IT systems and process implementation.
• Knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Miro, Visio, Monday.com).
• Ability to manage both internal teams and external vendors.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to new challenges and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing and available for international travel
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.
• Experience in SAP ECC or S/4 ERP are a plus.
