As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing this with precision, you contribute not only to the success of your team but also to the daily operations and the success of the warehouse and distribution centers. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. The Contract Logistics Customer Service Specialist works within the Contract Logistics Function. Contract Logistics provides innovative end-to-end warehousing and distribution solutions carried out to scale in a structured and standardised manner to optimise supply chain operations for our customers. The function is part of the Customer Service Department, driving services and systems that provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

How you create impact

  • Help to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely information between departments and with customers.
  • Contribute to customer support activities regarding order shipments, discrepancies, billing, etc.
  • Compile, sort, and verify data is accurate before order entry and effectively solve potential problems and/or discrepancies.
  • Investigate overdue and damaged shipments.
  • Support to analyse complaints relating to billing or the service rendered, sending complaints for non-performance to the responsible services for investigations, and promptly updating customers.

  • Experience in customer service or logistics operations, preferably within Contract Logistics.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills to manage customer inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in data entry and accuracy, with attention to detail for order processing and billing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and handle investigations on shipments and complaints.
