Job Description
As Restaurant Manager, you ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional food and beverage service. You oversee daily floor operations, maintain menu knowledge, and guide the team.
- Act as an ambassador for the hotel’s values, fostering teamwork and service excellence; train and mentor staff on service standards and menu details.
- Deliver the highest level of guest service in restaurant and bar areas; monitor house count, arrivals/departures, VIPs, and handle complaints.
- Perform front‑of‑house duties as needed to support a team‑oriented atmosphere.
- Oversee opening and closing duties, update menu prices, and assist with order management; coordinate daily specials with the chef.
- Maintain expert knowledge of liquor, wines, champagnes, and food menu items.
- Ensure staff adherence to schedules, coordinate breaks, and inspect grooming and attire.
- Expedite service on the floor or in the kitchen as required.
- Conduct training programs and lead daily line‑ups.
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
- Strong leadership, team management, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of wine and spirit service.
- Proficiency in Oracle systems.
- Fluency in English.
