Amazon Business is seeking an enthusiastic researcher to explore the world of business customers, focusing on all aspects of UX research to evaluate the impact of designs and uncover problems that need to be solved.

The researcher will work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to identify needs, prioritize research opportunities, and develop research roadmaps. Key responsibilities include planning and executing research activities with customers and prospects, generating ideas for new or more efficient ways to answer questions about customers, and collaborating with stakeholders to solve problems with data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to identify needs and prioritize high-impact research opportunities
  • Plan and execute research activities with customers and prospects using mixed methods
  • Generate ideas for new or more efficient ways to answer questions about customers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems with data
  • Work across all of Amazon to drive better research practices and bring attention to business customers
  • Visibilize the value of human-centered research in the organization

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, Design or related fields
  • Substantial experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods (5+ yrs)
  • Strong portfolio of past work experience and deliverables demonstrating impact across charters in large organizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (technical, business and executive audiences)
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver against role responsibilities, working with minimal guidance and direction in a fast-pace environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce or financial services
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders in large organizations
  • Demonstrated success with driving innovation or product/design decisions through research insights
