Profile

The Director of Revenue & Reservations will be responsible for analysis, optimising financial results and strategic decision-making anticipating demand and using that information to maximise revenue generation; in compliance with our company philosophy, operating standards and procedures. He or she must preserve a harmonious work atmosphere with a focused approach on teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Will preserve professional and ethical relationships with guests, suppliers and colleagues
  • Will constantly monitor the various distribution channels used by the Hotel Houses, in order to ensure ongoing marketing efforts, room availability information and pricing support the current strategy
  • Will constantly evaluate the effectiveness of current pricing, marketing and distribution strategies
  • Will analyse data to identify the most profitable strategy and then suggest ways to improve them to boost sales
  • Will make written reports on the business’s existing sales, possible growth areas, and areas where improvements may be made, outlining anticipated financial performance and the expected outcomes from various strategic decisions for the weekly management review
  • Will manage the contracts with suppliers and customers
  • Will review current revenue management practices and suggest changes
  • Will manage, train and support the Reservations team
  • Will create a positive and collaborative work atmosphere within the team, spreading the culture of proactive teamwork among company departments

Requirements

  • A degree in accounting or business
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts, order forms, legal, and pricing
  • Outstanding leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian. A third language will be a plus.
