Role Overview

You are a key member of the Market Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance & Repair (M&R) and working closely with the Head of Market (Station Operations).

Your mission: drive repair quality, cost efficiency, and vehicle availability across the market – keeping our fleet running smoothly and our operations performing at their best.

Responsibilities

  • Own the M&R budget and ensure cost‑efficient, high‑quality repairs across the market, covering Repair Strategy, Workshop Network, Spare Parts Inventory.
  • Define repair strategies per vehicle based on damage reports and operational priorities.
  • Maintain strong vehicle availability by coordinating workshop capacity, scheduling, and spare parts flow.
  • Build and optimise the internal and external workshop network to improve turnaround times and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and develop station repair teams, ensuring consistent performance and technical capability, damage detection rates, and parts inventory.
  • Track key KPIs such as repair cost, time, damage detection accuracy to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or similar technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, repair or workshop management.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, preferably in a technical and operational environment.
  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment; travel to internal stations and external vendors required.
  • Proficient in maintenance or fleet management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
