We are looking for a creative Geo Hunter Account Executive to join the team in Italy and maximize the phenomenal market opportunity that exists for Databricks in the Retail / CPG sector. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will bring an informed and compelling point of view on the Big Data and Advanced Analytics space, guiding your strategy and working with our teams and partners to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

The impact you will have :

  • Provide industry insight and business creativity to develop unique use cases and solutions that differentiate Databricks within the Retail / CPG segment.
  • Co-develop a business plan with your team and ecosystem partners to accelerate customer success, identify new opportunities, and exceed quarterly/annual goals.
  • Motivate a diverse team of big data and AI professionals to implement your business plan.
  • Lead your team, customers, and partners to identify impactful big data and AI use cases, demonstrating their value on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Support your customers' broader big data and AI transformation goals through strategic partnerships, professional services, training, and executive engagement.
  • Build exceptional value in engagements to guide successful negotiations and close deals.

What we look for :

  • 5+ years of experience in direct software sales, including selling enterprise software platforms to large organizations in Italy.
  • A successful track record of selling complex software solutions and exceeding quotas.
  • Ability to generate demand and create substantial business value.
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and develop new business.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, AI, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with consumption-based, land-and-expand sales models.
  • Experience driving adoption of usage-based SaaS and co-selling with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud teams.
  • Skills in developing business cases and gaining support from C-level executives.
  • Experience building partnerships with champions and client teams to support territory plans.
  • Ability to develop and implement partner strategies successfully.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message, and account/territory planning.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
