Overview
NABA is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of Transformation Project Management Assistant.
The selected candidate will join the Academic Transformation Project Unit, which has specific competence on internal processes and collaborates with the IT office in the digitalization project development. The Unit works on projects that impact academic processes services, supporting involved areas in defining technical briefings, monitoring projects, and participating in testing with software houses responsible for digitalization project developments. The Unit also provides direct support to the office by resolving technical problems reported through the internal ticketing platform.
The selected candidate will perform activities in close collaboration with the IT office and the external consultant.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Support by collecting the digitalization project needs connected with and/or impacting on academic processes services.
- Assist in the preparation of a task list for each digitalization project and monitor compliance with the task list.
- Support testing phases of digitalization projects, including autonomous pre-tests with software houses, and coordinate/support project owners in their own tests and feedback.
- Support the “go-live” of each digitalization project and ensure that all parts of briefings are finalized/implemented before the official closing of the project (project owners’ satisfaction).
- Training: Provide training to other offices related to ticketing issues, incorrect procedures, and the release of new functions and management of new systems.
- Digitalization Activities Support: Assist other Academic Processes Units, such as Registration Office and Academic Coordination Office, in managing their digital activities and finding smart digital solutions to simplify and better manage their processes (in addition to digitalization projects).
- Ticketing Management: Perform initial checks and resolve tickets related to the SIS and other internal systems.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
- Specific technical IT expertise is not required, but a good technical attitude and problem-solving mindset are essential.
- Strong communication skills, with empathy and patience in supporting colleagues.
- Service-oriented mindset and proactive approach to improving internal user experience.
- Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas) and general management software.
- Experience in the education or academic sector is a plus.
- Good command of English (B2 / C1).
