Workplace: Italy: Corleto Perticara (PZ)
Duration of Contract: 12 months fixed-term, with possibility of extension and/or conversion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure control of atmospheric emission parameters via the automatic emission control system (SME);
- Immediately inform relevant personnel in case of anomalies or exceeding limit values;
- Collect data daily and archive reports;
- Prepare daily summary reports;
- Coordinate with production to gather relevant information during anomalies (causes, corrective actions, restoration of conditions, etc.);
- Verify measures for emission containment.
The selected candidate will join a team of four rotating shifts, with responsibilities including:
- Monitor greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and minimize site flaring, identifying variables contributing to flare visibility in real time;
- Generate weekly reports on flared gas and SO2 emissions from the flare and incinerator;
- Identify the source units of gaseous flow in the flare and investigate correlations with ongoing maintenance activities;
- Summarize daily exceedances of external air quality limits and odors near the Olio Center;
- Create views on PI Vision for entire plant units and all data collected and transmitted by onsite sensors, including logic calculations for proper display;
- Facilitate information exchange between the site, production, and the Environment/Energy department.
Knowledge of IT tools: Word, Excel;
Knowledge of environmental regulation Dlgs 152/2006 - Part V;
Potential REACH C.L.P. training;
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental or Industrial Engineering;
Experience in similar activities: 0-1 years;
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of English.
