Overview

The Italy Territory Account Manager will report directly to the Business Development and Territory Account Manager. He / She will have the full responsibility of Machine Vision and Sensors & Safety Product Groups. The aim of the role is to coordinate with Partners, Datalogic / Datasensing and the End User to successfully close projects and winning new ones.

Responsibilities

  • Selling Machine Vision, Sensors & Safety products in the defined Italy sales area (Lombardia Ovest).
  • Successful management of the existing customer base and acquisition of new customers.
  • Building long-term relationships with current partners and promoting Machine Vision, Sensors & Safety products to new ones.
  • Achieve the sales targets for the defined sales territory.
  • Manage contracts & benefit packages.
  • Manage the account plan, perform visits, manage Price Exceptions, Sales Forecast, sales monitoring and KPIs.
  • Identify the needs of Special Product Requests (SPRs) engaging the Datalogic Technical Community and prioritizing Customer Technical Support activities.
  • Participation in the development of sales strategies.
  • Preparation and realization of presentations at the customer\'s premises.
  • Travel for 50% of time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Engineering or Economics.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • At least 4 years of work experience with Sensors, Vision System, Safety products or in the Industrial Automation field.
  • Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Coordination and collaboration with the team.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Proactivity, Hands-on, Self-driven.
  • Familiar with CRM systems.
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
