Overview

OVRSEA is a next-generation, multimodal freight forwarder dedicated to simplifying and optimizing international freight management through technology. They offer clients industry expertise and end-to-end visibility across sea, air, road, and rail, covering every stage from loading to customs declarations. Founded in 2017, OVRSEA supports over 700 clients from offices in Paris, Marseille, New York, Miami, Barcelona, and Milan. They are continuing to grow and expand internationally.

Job Description

Help us digitalize international freight transportation. Our job is to coordinate the transports of 700+ companies across 60 countries, and provide our clients with a platform to manage shipments simply and transparently. OVRSEA targets SMBs and midcaps across cosmetics, chemicals, retail, electric bikes, high-tech, and more. The Italian Team: Milan-based, two-part structure: Sales and Operations. You will join a fast-growing team; you will play a key role in taking our Italian clients\' operations to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Build your pipeline and acquire new clients: combine outbound and inbound strategies to create qualified opportunities.
  • Lead customer-centric demos tailored to prospect needs to spark engagement and build closing momentum.
  • Manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, from the first touchpoint to signature.
  • Onboard and nurture strategic accounts: partner with the Ops team to ensure seamless onboarding and outstanding client experience.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to gather feedback, identify risks, and define action plans over 6+ months.
  • Build deep expertise in supply chain/logistics to advise clients and become their trusted advisor.
  • Contribute to team growth and cross-functional collaboration: work with Product, Marketing, Ops, Procurement, and Business Performance teams.
  • Take initiative on cross-team projects that drive performance.

Qualifications

  • Native Italian speaker with fluent English (French is a plus).
  • Natural hunter: you create your pipeline.
  • 1-3+ years of B2B sales experience with full-cycle and closing responsibilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build something meaningful within a growing scale-up.
  • Client-centric and a great listener; able to build trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Motivated by impact, fast learning, and owning your growth.
