About the role
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Preclinical Imaging Researcher to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics, engineering, or another scientific discipline, with a clear interest in the technological aspects of imaging. This role focuses on preclinical imaging in small rodents, with particular emphasis on MRI and X-ray/CT modalities. Experience or familiarity with photon-counting CT technology is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct in vitro and preclinical imaging studies using MRI and X-ray technologies.
- Collaborate with researchers and developers to optimize imaging protocols and data acquisition.
- Work closely with a team of AI developers to support integration of imaging data into machine learning workflows.
- Contribute to the development of innovative imaging approaches for preclinical research.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards for animal research.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Experience with MRI and/or X-ray imaging systems.
- Strong interest in imaging technologies and their applications in biomedical research.
- Willingness to work with small animal models in a preclinical research setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in a professional setting.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of photon-counting CT technology.
- Certification for conducting preclinical research on animal models.
Soft Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proactive attitude and enthusiasm for exploring new and challenging projects.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and its applications in imaging and biomedical research.
