Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager on behalf of a leading multinational company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring profitable growth, strategic development and lifecycle management of ETO (Engineer-to-Order) solutions and commercial-grade products designed for non-industrial environments. The Product Manager will also ensure that product information is well communicated to the commercial organization and fully supported throughout the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire product lifecycle of the assigned portfolio, adapting strategies based on each product line's maturity and market positioning.
  • Drive the development of business cases for new product initiatives and present proposals at relevant decision-making gates.
  • Lead product rollouts across strategic regions, including training, events, and go-to-market activities.
  • Analyze cost structures, overhead allocation, and outsourcing opportunities to propose rationalization and cost-reduction initiatives and monitor their implementation.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and monitor emerging technology trends.
  • Identify long-term market trends, including product evolution, route-to-market strategies, competitive landscape, and regulatory impacts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications to ensure the creation and alignment of promotional materials, tools, and messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, margins, forecasts, and global inventory levels; monitor product quality and propose measures to address any performance issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, or equivalent technical background
  • ~3–10 years of experience in product management or technical / commercial sales roles
  • ~ Fluency both in Italian and English is required
  • Strategic planning and process discipline
  • Project and product leadership

Travel Requirements

Travel Availability: between 10% and 30% of the time
