The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer technical and business objectives. You will be a key player driving customer success, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and reusable artifacts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in cloud architecture and implementation.
- 3+ years design, implementation, consulting experience with distributed applications.
- 3+ years software development tools and methodologies.
- Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS experience with proficiency in services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation.
- Professional level AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
- Experience with automation scripting (Terraform, Python).
- Knowledge of security/compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and technology/software sales consulting.
- Professional experience deploying, operating solutions on AWS, including migration to cloud and federal government security requirements.
Location: Must work from one of the specified locations or customer sites at least 1+ days a week; this is not a remote position.
Security clearance requirement: must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency served.
Benefits: Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and more. Base salary range for this position: Colorado $131,300–$177,600; National $118,200–$204,300.
