To expand our growth we are recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager for Italy to lead our commercial strategy, manage key accounts, and drive sales growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Italy in line with Alivira’s global and regional objectives.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve targets and expand market share.
  • Manage relationships with key distributors, veterinarians, and other strategic partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business efficiency.
  • Represent Alivira at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal health or pharmaceuticals, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for building customer relationships that deliver long-term value.

  • Experience with Large Animals is an absolute must.
  • Preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management within the animal health, veterinary, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Italian animal health market, including distribution channels and regulatory environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and occasionally abroad.
