Overview

For our Global Headquarters in Luxembourg, Ferrero seeks an Industrial Excellence Manager. This is a strategic position focused on driving Process Excellence through the implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodologies across multiple production sites for the APAC-MEA region. You will enhance industrial performance by improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and OAE (Overall Asset Effectiveness) and eliminating losses. You will directly report to the APAC-MEA Area Industrial Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of key TPM tools, in particular Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Preventive/Preventive Maintenance (PM).
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies to optimize production processes, increase efficiency, and manage operational costs.
  • Ensure TPM initiatives are sustained over time through robust problem-solving methodologies and regular reviews.
  • Train local teams in root cause analysis to strengthen internal capabilities using a train-the-trainer approach.
  • Drive cultural change by promoting Manufacturing Excellence thinking and practices across the organization; foster a collaborative environment where TPM principles are applied daily.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and KAIs to track TPM progress and use data-driven insights for decision-making and improvements.
  • Assess and validate the maturity of the program at plant level via structured audits and assessments; consolidate findings for the Group-level overview.
  • Define progress indicators, follow-up actions, and communication plans; ensure activities comply with industry regulations and Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related scientific field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in diverse manufacturing roles with strong TPM/Lean manufacturing expertise, including Autonomous Maintenance and frontline leadership experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM/TPM) and Lean principles, including standard work and pillars of the methodology.
  • Recognized certifications such as Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) and demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving techniques in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong ability to lead and coach global cross-functional teams in complex Operations environments; experience driving cultural change and engaging multinational employees.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluency in English is essential; additional language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 50% of the time).
